Privacy policy
Compare Junk Removal (comparejunkremoval.com) is run by YSK Technologies LLC. We collect as little as we can, and your quote request goes only to the companies you pick.
Browsing
We count page views with our own counter: the page type, the path and a coarse source (for example "Google" or "ChatGPT"). We don't store IP addresses or set tracking cookies for this, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers. We also count clicks on a company's phone number, website and directions links, without identifying you, so companies can see how many people contacted them.
"Use my location" asks your browser for your location only when you tap it, and uses it only to run that search. Address searches are sent to the US Census Bureau's geocoder to find the location; we don't store the address you typed. Maps are drawn with OpenFreeMap tiles, which your browser downloads directly.
Quote requests
- What we collect: your name, email, phone, the job address or ZIP, what needs to go, any photos you add, your timing, the companies you picked and the consent wording you agreed to.
- Who receives it: only the companies you pick (up to 3). Some companies see the job details first and your contact details only after they accept the request. We never sell or share your request with anyone else.
- Email to you: a confirmation listing who received your request, with their phone numbers.
- How long we keep it: companies can unlock a request for 7 days; photos are deleted after 90 days and request data after 12 months.
- Spam protection: an invisible bot check from our hosting provider, rate limits and a hashed (not stored) network address.
Company information
Listings show business information: name, business phone, website, hours, service area, the rating and review count from the company's Google listing (with a link), and prices from its website. We never show review text or reviewers' names. Email addresses found on company websites are never published; we use them only to let a company claim its listing or receive requests. Companies can correct or remove their listing at any time: remove a listing.
Service providers
We use hosting, database and email-delivery providers that process data for us under contract, and a payment processor for companies that pay us. They may not use the data for anything else.
Your choices
Ask us to access, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop emails, at hello@comparejunkremoval.com. We'll answer within 30 days. Residents of states with privacy laws (for example California, Colorado, Virginia, Texas) have these rights by law; we give them to everyone.
